Highlights
The Citrus County Commission met with the county’s five constitution officers on Feb. 2 to begin early planning for the 2010-2011 fiscal year budget cycle. 
Contractors for the county commission recently began the Ft. Island Trail stimulus repaving project. The Citrus County Commission had formed a strike force in 2009 to maximize the stimulus money for repaving county roads.

Citrus County will be delivering shelter boxes to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. A shelter box has been brought in from Sarasota and will be displayed at the Inverness Walmart beginning January 21, 2010. Find out more on how to make a contribution to support this endeavor.
The HCEs semi-annual Yard Sale will be held at the Citrus County Auditorium on Saturday, February 06, 2010. Table reservations start January 6, 2010.
