Over the 6 week program, your child will learn the rules of the game, and will practice their skills in passing, dribbling, shooting, and agility performace. 1 to 5 instructor ratio. They will practice for 30 minutes and then play a game for 30 minutes. Each child will receive a basketball and t-shirt with their registration fee.

This is an introductory program that will prepare the children for league cheerleading. During this 6 week program, the children will learn proper stretching, exercising and conditioning techniques, positioning for arms and legs, how to use counting in routines, cheers and chants, voice control, choreography and routines. Each child will receive a t-shirt and a set of pompoms.

This program is a 6 week league. 1 hour each week with 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of game play. The children will learn to run the football, pull flags, kick, throw and pass. Games will be played each session. This will be a lot of fun to watch. The players will receive a football and a t-shirt with their registration fee.

Choose from Homosassa Area Recreation Park or Central Ridge District Park. It is an hour of soccer fun. Children play on their own field, and work on kicking, dribbling and running skills. It is a great introduction to soccer. The registration fee includes a soccer ball, shin guards and a t-shirt.

Choose from Bicentennial Park or Central Ridge District Park. Children play on field with 25 ft bases. They work for 30 minutes on baseball skills; hitting, throwing, catching and base running. They finish the hour with a 30 minute game. Each child receives a bat, ball and t-shirt with registration. It is an hour of fun!

This golf program is a 5-week program that teaches putting, driving, chipping, on-course play and on-course etiquette. The class meets on Wednesday mornigs for two hours. Golf clubs will be provided, but if you have your own, you are encouraged to bring them. Instruction given by Golf Pro Randy Robbins and support staff that will include adult volunteers and high school golf team members.

Instruction by Mehdi Tahiri, tennis pro for Citrus County for nine years along with top college and high school players. Players will be divided by ability. Instruction will include: conditioning, drills, footwork, match play, doubles, and single strategy.This clinic is for boys & girls ages 7-14. To sign up for this clinic print out the waiver form from online and then mail to Parks & Recreation along with payment or stop by the Parks & Recreation office.
