Passengers are required to cancel a trip reservation that is no longer needed, at least sixty (60) minutes prior to trip. Failure to do so, is considered a “No Show”. Drivers can wait for 3 minutes only. If you are not ready, you will be considered a “no show” & the driver will continue to his/her next pick up.
No Show Fees:
A passenger who schedules a trip but does not show, or does not cancel the trip at least sixty (60) minutes before the scheduled pickup time is considered to be a "No Show". No show clients are charged and must pay an established "No Show fee".
- First Offence: $2.00 and a letter explaining the policy and procedures and that the client will be *suspended (will not be allowed to ride the bus again) until the fees have been paid in full.
- Second Offence: $2.00 and *suspension for 30 days, regardless of whether or not the fees are paid. Only exception to this rule would be in case of medical appointments.
- Third Offence: $2.00 and the customer being suspended for 30 days. At the end of the 3rd suspension, plus payment of all the fees, the customer's slate would then be wiped clean. If the fee is not paid, service will continue until payment is received.
*Exception - Citrus County Transit is not allowed to suspend clients who need transportation to or from a medical appointment.
