Home Repairs for Very Low Income Families
Repairs are made that remove conditions that are an imminent threat to the health and
safety of the residents. Eligible repairs include; re-roofs, electrical
repairs, plumbing repairs, heating/cooling replacement or repair,
etc. This program cannot remodel units but instead repairs existing
hazardous living conditions.
Program Year:
July 1 - June 30
Eligibility:
Owner occupied homes. Applicant must verify anticipated
12 months' income and meet income guidelines. Mobile homes are
not eligible for assistance under this program. Household income
must be within 50% of Citrus County's median income (up to 80%
for emergency repairs). Applications are accepted year round by appointment.
