Robert Knight, Water Resources Director, is resigning from Citrus County Board of County Commissioners effective February 24, 2012.
The Board of County Commissioners in regular session on February 14 presented a Certificate of Recognition to Terry Smith for his selfless act on December 20 when responding to an unconscious swimmer at the Bicentennial Pool.
Citrus County monthly plant clinics offer an opportunity for the general public to learn about timely topics in garden, plant, and landscape maintenance, and are hosted by Citrus County's own Master Gardener volunteers. Find out "what to plant in March" and about clinic dates and times.
Citrus County Utilities has kicked off the 2012 rebate program. Offered to its' utility customers on an annual basis, rebates of up to $100 are issued as incentive to replace older inefficient fixtures with high-efficiency products. Qualifying products include replacing old toilets, rain sensors and clothes washing machines, as well as adding moisture sensors to irrigation systems. [Application] |
