The Project Management and Permitting Section is responsible for:
- Design and construction of County infrastructure - new roads, road improvements, and resurfacing
of existing roads, bridges, traffic signals, etc.
- Design and construction of new drainage systems and reconstruction of existing drainage systems.
- Review of subdivision preliminary plats, final plats, minor subdivisions, lot reconfigurations,
large lot rural subdivisions and subdivision construction plans for compliance with County LDC Engineering Standards.
- Providing relevant information and assistance at project pre-application meetings.
- Review of non-residential (commerical) site development plans for compliance with
County LDC Engineering Standards
- Review of variance request for first floor elevation for compliance with County LDC Engineering Standards.
- Review of right-of-way utilization applications for compliance to County LDC Engineering
Standards.
- Monitor, inspect and prepare maintenance reports for 27 County
bridges.
- Maintenance and evaluation of County-wide traffic model (FSUTMS).
