 Charles A. Black #1 Water Treatment Facility - Hernando, Fl.
The Charles A. Black #1 Water Treatment Plant is located in the Central Ridge area of the County.
There are 5 production wells that supply water to two (2) Four million-gallon storage tanks.
The plant is equipped with a back-up generator to operate during power outages and a telephone
dialer system that will notify Utility personnel of a system problem. This facility supplies water
to approximately 5,230 customers.
